We haven’t been to a circus before, so when I had the opportunity to check out the circus that was in town, I totally jumped on it. I received complimentary tickets to check out the Garden Bros Circus with my husband and my 2 boys. My oldest is 6 and my youngest is 3, so I thought it would be a great time for them.
The Garden Bros Circus came into our area – West Palm Beach, FL this past Friday and is in town until Sunday, November 19. I had heard that this is the last stop of the circus’s show schedule. Each day has 3 shows: a 1:30pm, 4:30pm and 7:30pm.
You can buy tickets online, or at the door. The seating is first come first serve, so buying tickets in advance is recommended so you can get seats where you prefer to sit. Also, make sure to have cash on you for parking and the extras they have at the circus. When we went, we were lucky and didn’t have to pay for parking, so I assume it depends on the time you go.
Besides the actual circus show, there are some fun extras like bounce houses, face painting, camel rides and elephant rides! They even had a monkey you could take a photo with! It was so cute! Doing those activities require tickets. The camel ride cost about $12 (2 tickets) and the bounce houses cost ($6) – and those were the activities my oldest did.
We of course, had to get popcorn (since my kids LOVE popcorn), a snow cone (that came in a fun light up plastic cup), dipping dots ice cream and cotton candy. Your typical circus fare!
The show was nonstop entertaining, with an intermission in between. During intermission the kids were able to go into the ring and play a little, and there was a huge area for them to run around and get all the sugar energy out!
Overall, it was a great time. My oldest wouldn’t stop talking about it afterwards and kept asking about our favorite parts of the show!
