Epcot is one of the ‘calmer’ parks of all the Disney World parks, in my opinion. I noticed there were a lot of places to sit and just relax. When you compare Epcot to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, it’s a lot tamer and less chaotic.
Epcot is still a great place to visit, as there is something for all ages. You’ve got the calm rides with no height restrictions, places for the kids to run around a little, and of course for the adults who enjoy a cocktail or two!
When going to Epcot, there are some things you should not miss checking out or doing. It’ll make your Epcot experience a lot more fun and memorable!
1. The Frozen Ever After Ride
Even if you’ve never seen the movie Frozen (like me – I know! It’s crazy, but I know the story), this ride is still worth going to. It’s a newer ride, as it replaced the Norway boat ride back in the day. The ride is similar in that there is a part where the boat goes backwards fast, short downhill and splash. Pair that with the story and music from Frozen and you’ve got a great ride that is popular with the kids. If you could get a FastPass+ for this ride, it is recommended, otherwise, going straight to the ride when the park opens is an option. The wait is still long – about 40 minutes or so, but the wait time increases more as the day goes on.
2. Epcot’s World Showcase
This has to be my favorite part of Epcot because of all the different kind of food you can get! It’s hard not to get a snack at each of them, but if you have lots of room to eat, then go for it! Also, there are tons of photo opportunities and it’s just fun to ‘be’ in a different country.
3. Coca Cola Tasting
If you’re a fan of soda or just curious to taste sodas from around the world, this is a great opportunity to do so. It’s pretty fun too. You can try different drinks from different countries for free. Some of the drinks taste better than others though, so keep an open mind!
4. Test Track Ride
This ride has to be the funnest ride at the park in my opinion. Test Track is basically a ride where you sit in a car that does different safety check tests as if you were part of the vehicle testing. Towards the end of the ride you are put on a track where you go up to 65 mph! It’s a pretty popular ride, so if you are able get a FastPass+ for this ride it’s definitely worth it!

5. Taking a Epcot ball photo
You can’t go to Epcot and not take a photo in front of the iconic Epcot ball! I still can’t believe that there is a ride in there, and it boggles my mind! I’ve seen so many photos with the ball at night with lights shining on it and it’s just incredible!
6. The Seas with Nemo and Friends
If you love aquariums and looking at sea life, The Seas with Nemo and Friends is for you! Kids especially love the Nemo and Friends ride, and once you finish the ride, you are able to check out the different aquarium areas of different kinds of fish! My kids really loved checking out the big windows and seeing the fish swim by!
